Structure and Design
Shape: It is cube-shaped. This shape design has many advantages, such as better use of space during transportation and storage. Compared with traditional round oil tanks, the cube shape can be arranged more closely when loaded on the transport vehicle, reducing space waste. In the storage area, the cube oil tanks can be neatly stacked or arranged to improve the efficiency of the site.
Material: Generally made of high-strength metal materials, such as high-quality steel. These materials need to have good corrosion resistance to prevent the fuel from corroding the tank body, because the fuel may contain some impurities or have certain chemically active components. At the same time, the material must be able to withstand a certain pressure to ensure safety during transportation and storage, especially when the tank is partially filled with fuel, the internal pressure changes require the tank body to have sufficient strength to cope with.
Functional Features
Transfer function: It is mainly used to transfer fuel from one location to another. For example, the produced fuel can be loaded into the Fuel Cube Transfer Tank at the refinery, and then transported to terminal sales locations such as gas stations by road transportation. In some industrial scenarios, it can also transfer fuel from large oil storage facilities to equipment that uses fuel, such as transferring diesel from an oil depot to the side of a generator set at a construction site.
Convenient measurement: Due to its regular cubic shape, it is easier to measure and calculate the amount of fuel than some irregularly shaped oil tanks. By measuring the side length, height and other parameters of the tank, combined with simple geometric formulas, the volume of fuel in the tank can be estimated more accurately, which is convenient for fuel inventory management and usage monitoring.
Safety performance
Sealing design: Good sealing is the key. It can prevent fuel leakage, avoid environmental pollution and cause safety accidents such as fire. The sealing structure usually includes high-quality sealing gaskets and specially designed valve interfaces to ensure good sealing under various transportation and storage conditions.
Protective measures: There may be protective coatings or devices such as fireproof and anti-static on the surface of the tank. Anti-static measures are particularly important because during the transportation of fuel, friction may generate static electricity. If static electricity accumulates, it may cause sparks, leading to serious accidents such as fuel explosions. Fireproof coatings can reduce the threat of external fire sources to the tank to a certain extent.
